Topic: Expansion of Elderly Home 2.0 Charity Hiking Event
Time: 1 May 2024 (Wed)
Date: 8:30am (Hiking), 12pm (Ribbon-cutting ceremony)
Azon Allied Health & Educare Development is honoured to support Rumah Victory once again in the Expansion of Elderly Home 2.0 charity hiking event as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. The hiking event's fund aims to renovate the elderly home and provide a nurturing environment for seniors.
Azon stand before you with a humble heart and a sincere purpose. We all know that preparing a charity event is no small feat. It requires meticulous planning, unwavering dedication, and, yes, financial resources. From event T-shirts to post-hike lunch, every detail demands attention, and every aspect comes with a cost. Hence, instead of adding to the financial strain of Rumah Victory, we have chosen to sponsor this event in a different form— one that we believe will be more impactful and far-reaching!
With every step we take, with every donation received, and with every word spoken, we strive to create a ripple effect of change — one that reverberates far beyond the confines of this charity event.
On 1st of May, all hiking participants gathered at Bukit Wawasan since 8am for the charity hiking event. Participants were fully geared with Azon sponsored T-shirts and ready to hike up with a shared purpose of helping Rumah Victory's elderly. A warm up session started at 9am and then all participants started to hike!
After the hike, Rumah Victory hosted a memorable event attended by VIPs, guests, and hiking participants, all gathered to support the welfare of the elderly residents. The event began with the arrival of VIPs and guests, followed by the screening of a heartwarming video showcasing the newly purchased house for the elderly. The atmosphere was solemn as the national anthem echoed through the venue, setting the tone for a day of unity and compassion. A prayer for thanksgiving was offered, expressing gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon the community and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the elderly.
Amidst a spirit of camaraderie, guests and participants enjoyed a delightful buffet lunch, sponsored by Azon. The event continued with welcoming remarks from the organizer chairman, expressing appreciation for the collective effort in supporting the elderly residents. Representative from Azon, on behalf of Azon's founder and clinical psychologist, Ms Lee delivered a speech, reaffirming Azon's commitment to charitable initiatives and community outreach.
The highlight of the event was the ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the official opening of the newly purchased house and marking a new chapter of hope and comfort for the elderly residents. Souvenirs were distributed to commemorate the occasion.
The program featured several dance presentations, such as "Si Jantung Hati" and "Peng Hu Wan," showcasing cultural richness and talent. Additionally, an impactful anti-drug campaign was presented by Semenyih Life Training Centre. The event concluded with a mesmerizing magic show and karaoke session, leaving attendees entertained and inspired.
Overall, the event was a resounding success, bringing together sponsors and community in support of the Expansion of Elderly Home 2.0. It served as a testament to the power of collective action and compassion in creating positive change within the community.
