In a world that is growing increasingly risky and unstable, despite academic performance, survival skills become one of the most important skills in the new era.

Holiday Camp Malaysia Survival skills help us in sustaining good quality of life, in the aspects of psychological and physical health.


Key Activities:

Self-care Skills in Daily Living
  • It is not merely on executing daily chores but to gain confidence in children’s abilities of planning and coordinating.

Basic Emergency & Rescue in Life
  • Unexpected events or emergencies may happens at any point of time.

    It is significant for children to learn some preventing or coping skills to deal with unexpected events such as flood, fire, injuries etc.

Holiday Camp Malaysia Quality and Value of a Survival
  • The art of cultivating well-mannered survivor with good traits that enabled them to endure their respective situations.

Simulation on Unexpected Events
  • Days with real challenges, such as starving, failure, tense to assess the children.


Activity Introduction:

a Life Enrichment Camp was held at Darul Ta’lim Homestay Hulu Langat on the 26th to 28th May 2019.


Holiday Camp Malaysia Respect and Appreciation:

Children experienced a short getaway from the bustling city. The days were simple but yet challenging. Children learned various self-care trainings, first-aid knowledge and emergency responses. Children learned their respect and appreciation towards lives through the art of making their own bed or pack and change their clothing. Through real emergency simulations, children are more alert towards sudden unexpected events. They learned to appreciate their resourceful lives.


Responsibilities and Patience:

Along the camp, children had to complete various tasks with responsibilities. At the same time, creating a strong bonding among group mates with good patience. For instance, campers have to be alert on practising respects and cooperative values among their groups for a smooth planning and coordinating some trivial self-care chores.


Conclusion:

Children experienced three days with challenges, self-transcendence and vitality. The joys and sorrows of life are plentiful in the future. We hope that the children will apply the values and lessons of survival learned into their daily livings.
