PUCHONG – A three-day, two-night camp titled 'A Life Experiential Enrichment Camp - Final,' with the theme 'Nature Explorer,' was recently organized from December 3rd to 5th, 2017, at Kuala Kubu Bharu. The main objective of the camp is to guide and inspire children to respect natural environment and love life, via the connection with our Mother Nature.

By joining the camp, children are able to earn an opportunity of going back to nature and enjoy its genuine beauty, as well as retrieve their peace of mind. Meanwhile, children are able to learn wilderness survival skills, be independent through the challenges they have faced, and flexibly apply the learned skills in their daily life.

During this camp, teachers and trainers aimed to cultivate the campers’ teamwork and spirit of adventure through some basic wilderness survival activities. The children have successfully completed all the assigned missions by working as one team, as well as with the growth of courage.

Especially during the survival cooking, the campers are able to make a simple and delicious lunch with minimal resources provided. From this particular activity, the children also reflected the spirit of respect for teachers and thanksgiving by passing the food to the elder first, only then comes to the enjoyment of having meal together. In the three days of this camp, the children also realized the importance of care for the natural environment and lives by having the chance to get closer to the nature.
